A Practical Philosophy

The original draw to log home buildings was related to the fact that log homes are not only beautiful and solid, they are created with sustainable, renewable, and non-toxic materials.  With care, they last for many, many years.  They are able to withstand severe weather and easily adjust to intense weather changes.  Log homes are also hypo-allergenic.  Mould is not a problem as natural logs breathe.  No plastic materials are required.   Altogether, log homes help you achieve comfort, safety, and serenity for your dwelling place.

Although the work involved in building this type of structure is heavy and labor-intensive, individuals can, with study and some help, master the proper building techniques.  So, if you are a do-it-yourself type of person, you can achieve your dream of building your own home with reasonable costs in mind.

We are based in central Vancouver Island, near Parksville and Qualicum Beach.  Most of our work centers in British Columbia;  however, we do offer services throughout North America.
